Map
39 1/2 x 42 1/2 inches. Large scale maps (2) of Midwestern States; Wisconsin and Michigan and on the verso Indiana and Ohio. The handsome large scale maps freeze the time period when the pre-WWI railroad scene was approaching maximum passenger use by the populace. These two maps cover the heart of the Middle West. They are primarily transportation maps showing main roads, railroads and electric lines. The map displays excellent detail. Very good wit s few splits at the folds and small marginal tears.

Huge uncolored folding map with original printed paper sleeve. Very good to excellent condition, with one mended tears along a fold. The map at the center (59x90 cm.) is surrounded by ads for businesses in Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island, mostly hotels and garages for automobile tourists. The wide border also contains small maps and plans of 26 cities, towns and destinations in lower New England. The verso has several ads, population and distance tables, and a large map of the Vicinity of Boston. A large production from a relatively obscure mapmaking company.

106x73 cm. Large folding map in plain printed boards titled Southern New England. Excellent condition, with small separations at some fold junctions and along one fold. Partial color. Shows most of Connecticut, extending east to the Thames River at New London. Extends north through Western Massachusetts to the Vermont state line. The verso is a map of all of New England except for the northernmost reaches of Maine (eastern Maine in a inset map) featuring roads and railroads. The map on the verso is The Heart of New England which shows most of southeastern New England, north to show the three southernmost towns in New Hampshire, west to Athol, Massachusetts and south to include much of Narragansett Bay. Shows only the westernmost portion of Cape Cod. This differs from the 1913 issue of the Connecticut map which has a different map, of all of New England, on the verso.
