Stranahan." 4to. (8 x 10.5") [4]1-50p. Illustrated with 20 black and white captioned photos, including two of C.T. Stranahan and his wife, May L. Bostwick: one taken on their wedding day, the other 63 years later, as well as several photos of Native Americans and some black and white captioned drawings. Stapled booklet in color pictorial wrappers made to look like wood panels printed in black with a vignette in black on the front wrapper of a man leading a burrow loaded with gear. "These stories have been compiled by the following members of the Lewiston Chapter of the Idaho Writers' League, 1947. The material came from the files of C.T. Stranahan, Lewiston pioneer. [List of persons involved] Cover design by Willard G Bond. Just touches of wear to extremities, corners square and flat, the faintest musty odor, just a touch of rust on the staples, all photos in fine condition, else near fine to fine with no internal markings. Clinton T. Stranahan was an Idaho pioneer, author, and philanthropist. He helped mold central Idaho and Lewiston history as a rail splitter, farmer, deputy county assessor, deputy sheriff, Indian agent and pioneer orchardist. This book is a compilation of stories taken from his writings. A "must have" for anyone interested in Lewiston and Idaho history. Signed by Author(s).
