It is a Soft Cover, over-sized volume having a black cover done in heavy, coated card stock paper. It features a color photo of some of the cut glass contained within. Writing is done in a magenta colored ink on both front cover and spine, the back cover features another black and white photo along with reviews, and other information. THere is very slight wear to the edges and spine. The papers, end and otherwise upon inspection are very clean and bright. Appears to be unread (no creases, writing or other marks noted). The copyright page indicates that the paper used in this volume is an approved "Paper for Printed Library Material", ie - Acid free/ archivAL type. This book includes the following features; Table of Contents, Acknowledgments, Preface to this new edition by authors, afterword, Chronological list of cutting companies and home shops in corning and immediate vicinity, Reference notes, Bibliography and index. A very nice copy.
