Clean pages and illustrations with light tanning and mild foxing throughout. More pronounced to free endpapers and pastedowns. Pen markings to front free endpaper. Binding is slightly loose. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. Moderate sunning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Visible wear marks to boards.

Foxing more noticeable towards the start and end of the book and on text block edges. Sporadic pronounced foxing. Boards have some edge wear, with slight bumping and fraying to corners, while spine ends are quite crushed and frayed. Very water stained, mottled and marked overall. Spine is heavily sunned. Book has a moderate forward lean. Gilt is dulled and worn.
