Preface and introduction in front of book; 3 sections: My Martyrdom; My Life during the Terror; and My Trial under the Directory. Pages tight; yellowed; no markings; some foxing and darkeneing of page edges and blank end papers; page edges cut rough. Portrait of Mgs. De Salamon with tissue protector on frontispiece. Faded black hard covers with gild illustration and lettering on spine; corners bumped and slightly frayed; rubbing, chipping and staining on covers; top and bottom portion of spine is frayed with small top section torn from underlining. Top outside spine crease broken and cracked but inside spine crease and pages are tight. RARE, VINTAGE COPY.
