About this Item: A letter of sympathy on the death of her husband. '. I remember him so clearly, in the days before 'Lincoln' was written, & its being read by him at our house at Oakridge. . All my memories of him (like those of every friend he had) are memories of kindness; I shall miss him very very deeply.
