C. 1830 by clerk s office submission, 486 pp, 6 x 4 12mo, hardcover full leather. In good condition, with minor rubbing and wear to boards. Some cracking to leather around spine. Hinges remain in good condition, with minor wear to front and rear. Light markings and marginalia. Frontispiece portrait with tissue guard adjacent to title page. General age-related toning to pages, along with periodic foxing and wear. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing. Hardcover. Condition: Fair/Good. No Jacket. First Edition. Vol. 1 is black cloth, from a different set than the other 2 volumes. It has some interior foxing, mostly involving the endpapers. Includes frontispeice. Exterior has some chipping at spine ends and worn edges and corners. Vol 2&3 have interiors in better shape, no foxing. The binding are 3/4 leather and are quite worn at the hinges and on the spines and corners. A mixed complete set.
