Frederic Sackrider Remington (1861-1909) was an American artist and writer who specialized in depictions of the Old American West. 2 volumes, folio. Publisher's deluxe binding in brown leather, titles in gilt to spines and with pictorial design of a buffalo to front boards, grey patterned endpapers, beige bookmarks. With the CD-Rom in its colour card sleeve, within paper pocket to front pastedown of vol. 1, as issued. Housed in publisher's beige buckram slipcase. Numerous colour and monochrome in-text and full-page illustrations after Remington. Notably unfaded and crisp, minor scuff mark to spine of vol. 2, else a fine set.
