A. Johnson home on East Broadway and formed a society to promote cultural education among women. Their motto, Live as if you would die tomorrow; Learn as if you would live forever, is the one we use today, more than 100 years later.

Rare surviving copy of the story of one of the earliest Sororities dedicated to the international cultural advancement of women, named in honor of Dr Adrian John Ebel, physician, photographer and science/cultural lecturer. Since 1907 the organization expanded to promote Anaheim and various national social welfare causes, the Red Cross, Defense Bonds and regional industry and financial growth. This is a rare book, remarked in the Forward as a "Limited Edition". [B98].
