Book First Edition
First edition and first printing. Oblong hardcover. Features an afterword by Jonathan Williams. A collection of black and white images taken in the title area of New Jersey that has echoes of Lewis Baltz and the work of Bernd and Hilla Becher. A near fine copy in cloth boards with some light bumping to the corners and with the pencil signature of a longtime photo curator to the front free endpaper and in very good plus dust jacket with the same bumping to the corners and a thin are of discoloration to the front panel. Includes a laid in unsigned letter from Mortenson presenting this book along with a copy of his curriculum vitae. A nice copy with an interesting provenance of this vastly underrated book.
