Hardback. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. 428 pp ; the classic novel of inland Florida; the three book edges are lightly tanned, as are the book contents, to a lesser degree, with the exception of the end papers, which have a somewhat deeper tan, particularly along the hinge inside the front cover,and correspondingly ,on the hinge on the front cover, and to a lesser degree on the rear cover hinge. These tan streaks may be associated with glue used to fasten the end papers. Cover spine is slightly darker than the front and rear covers, these beingnvery close to as issued. The dj has a 1/4 inch deep x 3/4 inch chip off the top front panel and a circa 1/4 in.deep x 2 in. chip off the top rear dj panel. dj color is good and fresh, and looks well under a protective glassine cover.
