Soft Cover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. Reprint of a book first published in two volumes in 1919 and 1923. This is a large soft cover book, in very good condition, of a collection of black and white photographs and drawings with an in introduction by Ramsey. A diagonal crease on the lower half of the front cover, and through the first few pages of the text, is barely noticeable. There is very slight darkening to top cover edges from handling. Otherwise the cover and text are tight and clean with no marks. Appears hardly used. The foreword to the new edition, written in 1972 by Sir Charles Richards, is very informative.
