Hardcover. Condition: G+. Dust Jacket Condition: No Dust Jacket. Three volumes in hardback with red cloth covers. Volumes 1 and 2 are by Porter and are a matching set. Volume 3, published in 1915 by The Royal Engineers Institute, Chatham, is similarly bound but not identical. All volumes moderately worn and soiled, with noticeable fading, silverfishing. Hinges in all volumes sound and uncracked; pages tight. No DJs. Not library discards. ;

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. Nine volumes : volumes I & II are 1977 facsimile reprints of the first editions, volume VII is dated 1952 but is a later impression printed lithographically from the original edition, all are uniformly bound in red cloth with dust-wrappers. Volumes V, VI and VII have loose folding maps in rear pockets and all the maps are present. The condition of the books is very good or better with the exception of volume I where the boards are stained with ring marks. The page edges of volumes V, VII and VIII are browned. All dust-wrappers are slightly dust marked and with edge creasing and some edge tears around the spines. The books weigh 7.7 kilos and additional shipping will be requested for all destinations.The charge for shipping to mainland UK destinations will be £15 - an additional £10.50- using the Parcelforce 24 service.
