Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. Full cloth binding in burgundy colored cloth. Gilt decoration and lettering on front cover bright. Gilt lettering on spine somewhat faded. Book measures 6 1/2 inches wide, 4 3/4 inches deep and an inch and an eighth thick. Page edges darkened by age. Former owner's name in small stamp on flyleaf and inside front and back covers. Interior otherwise unmarked. Covers clean on the outside and show minimal wear. Book obviously has managed to stay away from the hands of repairmen as it is clean and has seen little if any use. Repair and/or maintenance practices involve examples of Ford, Buick, Maxwell, Packard, Hudson, Oldsmobile, Willys, Paige, Franklin, Saxon, Grant, Dort, Nash, Marmon, Locomobile, Haynes, Overland, Essex and King cars, on selected models, not by any means all models of all makes. Illustrated with photos and diagrams. One photo shows the engine of a Maxwell being removed. 604 pages. Index. Binding tight, square.

Clean and unmarked inside with no creases, marks or damage to pages. Very light toning to pages. Exterior covers a little soiled. Just one corner is barely bumped, others are sharp. A little rub wear to top/bottom edges of spine, front seam. Rare 1st Edition copy. Will be bubble-wrapped and shipped in a sturdy box to ensure safe delivery.
