Pamphlet. Condition: Fair. 1st Edition; 1st Printing. B&W Illustrations; This is a thin stringbound pamphlet with plain paper covers - undated, but c1880's. This pamphlet is in Fair condition. The front cover is detached but present - the rear cover (and last text page) are missing. All edges of the pamphlet have edge wear, rubbing and nicking. There is noticeable toning and foxing throughout. The pamphlet details the basics fo fret sawing and wood carving, from the tools needed, to simple shapes, to more complex work, including marquetry and finishing. Also included are the instructions for setting up and using a 'Holly Saw" which is treadle run.
