The happy giant tells a series of folksy stories to his sister Wanda Moon in this 1927 book for children, illustrated in color frontispiece and two color plates by George Timothy Tobin (1864-1956) and numerous line drawings in red and black throughout. 9 1/4" X 6 1/4". 106pp. Bound in orange cloth over boards, with the happy giant and Wanda Moon stamped in green and black to upper board, Wanda Moon additionally in black to spine, and lettering in black to upper board and spine. Moderate wear to binding, with sunning to spine, soiling to cloth, and bumping to extremities. Hinges tender; binding remains sound. Heavy foxing to frontispiece and title page and occasional smudge to pages throughout, else unmarked. Illustrated in color frontispiece and two color plates by George T. Tobin and numerous line drawings in red and black throughout.
