Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. Good condition hardcover 2-volume set. 1/4 Leather with marbled boards. In DANISH. Probable 1st Edition/1st Printing since no subsequent printings are indicated. Significant wear to edges and corners, but still a very nice set overall (see photos). Neither volume has cracked hinges. Both volumes have very clean pages with light toning. A very few pages with a creased corner. Covers very clean. Leather mottled black and brown in some areas. Volume I has a tear from top edge of seam between front cover and spine. As mentioned previously, quite a bit of rub wear to edges and corners of covers. Will be bubble-wrapped and shipped in a sturdy box to ensure safe delivery.

Binding is tight, sturdy, and square; tiny chip at bottom edge of front board, else light wear to edges of boards, gilt titling remains bright and bold; a few ink and pencil notes in first half of book (mostly English translations), else text and photos very good; light foxing to page block edges. Volume Two has evidence of use in the baking section from pages 337 to about page 368, with page 353 being damaged by a spill and a tear making the recipe for Borgmesterstang only partially complete, (the other side of the page survived).
