Preface dated Belfast, December, 1866. Text clean. Front hinge cracked internally. Previous owner's name clipped from top of title page. Previous owner's inscription "Christmas 1866" in neat ink at bottom of title page. Original maroon cloth with gilt lettering on spine. Top and bottom of spine and corners rubbed. Small piece of cloth at top of spine split. Overall condition VG-.
