Condition: Collectible. Limited. VG+. Large, limited edition of 635, hand made paper (13" x 9"). Ornate floral motif brown boards. The scarce limited edition publication of the annual one-performance only production done by and for the private San Francisco social club called "The Family", September 2, 1928. This is first authorized special limited printing of their annual play, this one being the 20th since first was conceived and performed in 1909. "The Family" was a musicians-writers-authors group of friends who celebrated their individual and collective artistic creativity. Many were San Francisco community notables - including Rudy Steiger (who wrote the music for this particular piece), the orchestral conductor of the Fairmont Hotel. A special San Francisco memento. Slight breaks at spine ends. [B237].
