Book
Hardcover. Condition: Excellent. This is quite a find, as this is a book that appears to have never been used! The original copyright date is 1947, but I would say this book was published in the later 1950's. This book has obviously been sitting on a shelf for the last 60+ years! Binding is super tight and pages are crisp and clean. Inside text is literally in Excellent to Like New condition. Obviously, no writing in the book. Inside the front and back cover show some minor darkening due to aging. Outside cloth covers are very nice with just a touch of corner wear and some fading to the outside spine- probably from shelf wear. No Dust Jacket, but I do not believe this edition had one. This edition does have the original silhouette drawings. Definitely a very old classic of one of the great Childhood of Famous Americans books.
