Book
Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. Various (illustrator). Theodore Roosevelt was buried on January 8, 1919. At the time of his death, he was one of the most popular presidents ever. There were two versions of the same basic book published by The United Publishers to capitalize on the funneral. A collector deluxe version was printed with green cloth and a photograph of the president on the front cover and a standard version having black cloth boards with the photograph as a frontis. There were some specialty versions sponsored for business advertisement as well. This is a standard copy. Interior is tight, clean and, except for former owner's name in pencil on front end-page, unmarked. Pages show foxing. Hardback cover has black cloth boards with gold lettering. Cover has standard wear, no DJ.
