That is more accurate than you'd suspect, this small book (75 pages) was never written down - RATHER it was created from BBC radio tapes given by Laskier. The book starts with tales of sailing adventures just prior to WWII. One b/w photo of Seaman Frank ( intro.) and 5 adverts for similar bks.(back). Cond: Navy blue wrapper over stiff boards with `Union Jack' graphic. Both d.j. flaps are designed loose/free but rest is glued to boards (as issued). Spine of d.j. is split and much worn at both tips. Minor edge wear. Binding was NEVER deluxe. Prev. owner name (ffep). On page 23 Laskier describes a banana boat loading scene (Montego Bay) when all that moved the 100 lb. bunches were brown, muscled arms. Size: 12mo.
