Hard Bound. Condition: Very Good. Compete in two volumes bound into one. Original full leather with gilt designs and title on the spine. Slight leather scuffing, all edges marbled, previous owner's name in ink on the title page, some foxing, Very Good.

Hardcover. Condition: Fair. Two volumes bound in one, re-cased in modern times in black textured cloth with gilt titles on spine. The binding is in excellent condition but the pages show a lot of historical wear and tear: staining, toning, foxing, some pages with tears. Title page of second volume repaired with some kind of apparently archival cello-tape. Overall, the text if FAIR ONLY. Complete, but with considerable defects. Volume One: 280 pages, volume two 286 pages.
