First Edition
Condition: Good +. (1st Edition). 59p. Gift message on front endpaper, back cover moisture stained and front panel rubbed. A collection of short stories told in the voice of a flighty upper middle class woman during the early 20th century. The first story is about Trouble, her dog. From the drawing on the front of the book, the dog appears to be a Pekingese but there is no mention of the dog's breed in the story just that he is a small size dog. B&w decorations begin each chapter. (7-5/8"x5-1/4") Cloth hardcover with paper label on front.

Book First Edition
Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. This offering is a slender vintage book, Trouble, A Pet Dog written by Louise Karr. The book was published by Himebaugh & Browne in 1917 and appears to be a First Edition though it is not specifically stated as such. The book is not an ex-library copy, it has no dust jacket, and is a hard cover book in good + condition. The first story (Trouble, A Pet Dog DOES have some underlining in pencil along with some annotating in pencil in it. It CAN be easily erased but it does add a touch of nostalgia to the book. It is 5 1/4" by 7 1/2" and has 59 pages with a Table of Contents leading the reader to seven short stories. Thank you!.
