The book is in good condition with some foxing and staining, especially on end pages, borders of the pages of photographs and page edges. Affixed on the front end page is the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum sticker. The contents are tight and otherwise clean with no markings or highlighting. The dust jacket is in fair condition with chipping and wear to the edges, a couple of closable tears. The rear panel which list the titles in the Putnam Sports Series, is spotted and soiled. Despite the stated flaws, it is still a decent dust jacketed copy of a an uncommon baseball history. Published in 1954, the year after the Braves moved from Boston to Milwaukee, this book chronicles the 82-year history of the Braves in Boston (written by Kaese) and of their move to Milwaukee and their "glorious" reception there (written by Lynch).
