Not price clipped (7/6), faint school library stamps to ffep and final page, some browning to page fore edges, slight lean, otherwise internally clean and tight, overall a vg+ copy for its age and wartime paper. 219pp. Catholic fiction, a sequel to the author's earlier 'Three Daughters of the Untied Kingdom'. The pleasant story of three Catholic schoolgirls, five years after they left school, by largely forgotten Victorian author Mrs Jessie Innes-Browne. Publishers Burns Oates specialised in publishing Catholic material (St. Joan of Arc's School Rickmansworth, seems to have been a Catholic School). A scarce book.
