Holt (1922-2015) was a pioneering Jewish female journalist and lawmaker in British Colombia. This sensational volume was her first book, a controversial exposé on abuses of the Russian sect in Canada. Her text adequately conveys the terror instigated by the sect's elders; the photos hammer home the irrational horror. Dust jacket preserved in a clear, removable archival sleeve.
