Volume I details the works included in the 1993-1994 exhibition at the Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris; Kunst-und Ausstellungshalle der Bundesrepublik Deutschland, Bonn; Moderna Museet, Stockholm; and Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, Madrid. Volume II is a catalogue raisonné of the paintings from 1962-1993, including a biography, list of selected exhibitions, books, and films. Volume III is comprised of texts in German on the artist. Other than the introduction to Volume I, which is in both English and German, all texts are in German.
