This copy is in fine condition with just a touch of time wear to the paper-covered boards. The white cloth spine and paper label are strictly in fine condition. There is a curious block of offset to both the front and rear endpapers but no item is laid in to create this section of offsetting. The text pages are in strictly fine condition with no wear or markings to be seen. This edition by the Grabhorn Press is a handsome piece of work with the page design featuring red-and-black lettering and decoration and the four scenes of the comedy are highlighted by color illustrations by Arvilla Parker. This edition was issued with 550 copies and is part of the Rare Americana Series by the Grabhorn Press. 77 pages.

A broadside featuring Jane Bissell Grabhorn's introduction to a talk by Herbert Evans at one of the meetings of the Roxburghe Club of San Francisco. Text authored by the Grace Hoper Press is printed over Grabhorn's speech and describes the context behind the speech: "While I was nervously waiting for the time to come for me to preside for the first time as the new Master of the Press--Jane, aware of my tension, smoothed th way by writing the following introduction to Dr. Herbert Evans' talk. Eight years later we print this act of kindness on her birthday. Now, fourteen years later, we do it again.--The Grace Hopers."
