Pages are quite yellowed and have irregular foxing. Plates are bright, most have much heavier foxing than pages but a few have very little. Some partially shaken pages, binding is otherwise sound. There are 16 very attractive illustrations in light blue and brown tones that give imagery to the story of a young boy, living near the Aldur creek who loves it and wishes it could talk to him. Father Aldur emerges from the mist and takes the boy on a journey to the headwaters. Gutters are exposed but I've reglued the front one to tighten the book. 376 pp. KLT 000400.
