Gallman had almost daily contact with General Nuri, one of the Middle East's most able statesmen. He discusses the plight of the Anglo - American relations in Iraq from '54 - '58. With a critical chapter dealing with the British in Iraq. The author claims that Britain furthered her own interests more than Iraq's. xiii, 241 pp. 6" + 8.5" (15.0 + 22.0 cm) With four pages photos. A tight and unread copy without inscriptions. With bump to the lower corner of the text block and folding marks to about 10 pages otherwise fine. The jacket with a few chips to the edges and only little wear to the panels. Priced at 5.95$ on the inner flap.
