Wrappers browned, water-marked leaves, leaves torn with loss of text, some foxing, otherwise a good reading copy. This book is composed of a selection of three papers and on lecture given between 1925 and 1927. The Radial Aircooled Aero Engines was read before the International Air Congress at Brussels in 1925 debates the advantages of the engine and how some peculiar issues were tackled. The Bristol Jupiter Engine lecture was given before Various Stations of the Royal Air Force and provides detailed technical descriptions of the "Bristol" Jupiter engine with sections on the lubrication system, the cam and valve mechanism, the induction system and carburettor, and other technical aspects regarding the engine. Installation Problems on Radial Air-Cooled Engines was read before the Royal Aeronautical Society on November 20th, 1925. It analyses the issues regarding various parts of the engine, their calibration and new types of air-cooled radial installations. The Supercharging of Aircraft and Motor Vehicle Engines was read before the Institutions of Automobile Engineers on February 1927.
