No dust-jacket. 40 pages of text with Notes and Selected Bibliography. Illustrated with 28 magnificent full page color plates [complete], with images printed on rectos and corresponding letterpress on verso of opposing page. First edition, first printing. Ex-library, with small number on cloth spine and again on top of half-title, else no other marks. Most likely from a private or academic library. No previous ownership marks, end-papers clean. Cloth covers badly finger soiled, interior of book, including plates, very clean. Overall a good or better copy of an extremely scarce edition, with all of Earle's wonderful plates.
