Pages are very clean and intact except for minuscule bumping at the corners and slight age toning. Covers are clean and intact but have age toning (most apparent on and near spine), a few tiny stains, light rubbing at top on front, a few wrinkles, and slight wear to head and tail of spine. Binding is tight. A Very Good copy. Autobiography of pioneer Sarah J. Cummins (1828-1919). Cummins describes her life and travels in Illinois, Ohio, Missouri, Yellowstone Park, Grande Ronde Valley, the Cascades, and Oregon. She describes the arduous journey with her family from the Midwest to Oregon, which, while interspersed with episodes of respite, also had moments of tragedy. At the conclusion of her account, Cummins writes that she has lived in Montana for the last two years.
