This work is complete in a tight binding with age foxing to the end pages and through out the book but not taking away from the text. Issachar Cozzens Jr. ( 1789-1865 ) was a New York Distiller . He also had an interest in natural history and political history , and collected maps, manuscripts and prints relating to these fields.This work by him on the geology of Manhattan Island was considered the authoritative account during the latter half of the 19th. century. A very rare complete book on early New York City. Condition : Very Good , Corner bumped foxing and aging. Size: 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Book.
