It is impossible to think of one without the other. This has come about because he has not only written so delightfully about ducks - his favorite theme - and the men who hunt them, but he has also been drawing, painting and etching them with masterful technique for many years. This combination of author-artist has made him great among all others of wildfowling" (John Holman). Siegel 118. Frazier C-6-a. Biscotti p. 85.
