Book has a slight odour overall. Pages are slightly water stained and warped to edges at start and end of book, but the text and plates are unaffected. Previous owner's inscription to front endpaper. A few dog-eared corners. Heavy water stains to rear. Otherwise, boards have some moderate edge wear, with slight bumping to corners and minor bumping to spine ends. Gilt is bright. Unclipped jacket has heavy edgewear with some areas of loss, heavy tears, chips and creasing. Ring marks to front. Dust and tape marks to rear. Jacket is rather rubbed and marked overall.
