This biography of Frances Anne "Fanny" Kemble (27 November 1809 ?- 15 January 1893) covers her life from birth to death. She was a notable British actress from a theater family in the early and mid-19th century. A well-known and popular writer, her published works included social commentary, plays, poetry, eleven volumes of memoirs, travel writing and works about the theater.
