Third Revised and Augmented Edition. 331 pp, 6 5/16" H, red cloth over card covers, gilt titling on spine and front board, blind stamping to spine and covers, text block edges marbled, two ribbon book marks. 13 maps (some fold-out) and 12 plans (all present). The introductory section includes: "The Constitution of Canada" by Sir J.G. Bourinot; "Geographical and Geological Sketch" by G.M. Dawson and "Sports and Pastimes", by E.T.D. Chambers and W.H. Fuller. The following sections (routes) comprise: Approaches to Canada; New Brunswick; Nova Scotia; Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland; Quebec; Ontario; Western and North-Western Provinces; Alaska and the Yukon. Information on rail, steamer and coach routes, hotels, restaurants, local history, etc. Interior - a 2" split in the paper of the front inside hinge; three previous owner's names and dates on the half-title page - one in pencil, one in ired ink and one as a stamp; a faint red ink number at the top corner of the half-title page; a 1" split at the bottom of the gutter of page 304/305; some soft wrinkling and light soiling on the rear endpapers; a few pages with soft wrinkles. Exterior - light browning to the edges of the text block, light edge wear - more at the top/bottom of the spine with wrinkling, a 1/2" split in the cloth at the bottom of the rear hinge, light rubbing mark on the spine, 1907 date in black ink on the spine.
