A lovely copy with bright pictorial boards which are a little knocked at the extremities with small slits to the spine covering at the spine ends. The "Presented To" box has been filled out as a Sunday school prize giving plate, dated 1966.The "This Book belongs to" box has also been filled out in the same name as the prize. Other than that the pages look clean with just the join the numbers drawing on p.47 completed in light pencil. In all a charming copy of this scarce children's book.

Large format hardcover, no dustjacket, full-size color illustration on front cover, rear cover lists three other children's books by this publisher, features eight full-page bright color illustrations and several black and white drawings accompanying the following stories: Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, Hop O' My Thumb and Tom Thumb, no publishing date but most likely a 1920s publication, the following flaws are present: a short tear and fraying to the cloth spine, the cover has wear at the corners, tanning on the rear panel and the former owner's name at the top of the front cover, names are also written on the inside of the front cover, the end-papers are tanned, small soiled marks are present in the margins of some of the early pages, the text is in nice shape and the illustrations are fine; 32 pages.
