Liège, Jacques Le Noir, 1683, in-8°, folding engraved frontispiece, xxvi nn + 164 + 112 pp, 1 ill., roan, raised and gilt decorated spine, marbled endpapers, red edges, some slight damage at end of spine but a fine copy, handwritten ex-libris (J. M. Chedeviller). Very rare. A vehement jansenist attack against the jesuits, of which an earlier version was published on the occasion of their 1654 almanac. The second part is by Jean Barbier d'Aucourt, a lawyer and member of the Académie Française, 1664. Antoine Arnauld wrote the last part; Réponse à la Lettre d'une Personne de condition; Touchant les regles de la conduite des Saint Pères dans la composition de leurs ouvrages, pour la deffense des Veritez combattuës, ou de l'Innocence calomniée.
