Surtees, etc.etc. The volume is divided into seven sections: The sport of fox-hunting, the hunting country, the fox, hounds and their huntsman, hunting days, the making of good sport and fox-hunters all. Lady Apsley states in her introduction that "This has been a labour of love". Text clean throughout. Hinge cracked at title page. Short tear at bottom of half-title page. Red cloth boards with gilt lettering on spine. Gilt illustration of fox hound on front cover. Overall condition VG. In VG- dust wrapper - small piece torn from top of spine and a little damage to top right hand corner of front.
