Book
Hardcover. Condition: Very Good Plus. No Jacket. SIGNED and inscribed in gold ink to the ffep, "With much love to ______, from Mrs. Mac, September 15, 1954". Without dustjacket. Interior is clean and solid and appears unread. Bright gilt titles to spine and front board. Red cloth boards are moderately bumped to extremities, small "ding" to the top edge and a bit of fraying to the foot of the spine. I'm assuming that "Mrs. Mac" is the nickname of the co-author Clara Anderson McDermott; however, I'm not able to state this categorically. The history of a horrific fire in Hinckley, MN on September 1, 1894 that claimed 418 lives.
