Alicia Higgs

Alicia Higgs is a wife of 28 years, the mother of three young adult children, and a soon-to-be grandmother. She is a teacher and commissioned as a prophetic intercessory for the Bride of Christ, to receive her God-given ordained identity, and to see hearts healed and communing with the Lord in all aspects of the surrendered life in Christ.

Alicia is a leader for One Whole Heart Ministry (http://www.onewholeheartministry.com) and is commissioned to the healing ministry. She writes to touch the nations with God's heartbeat for his Bride, encouraging all in "Making yourself ready for him" (see Revelations 19:7).

The healing process for the body of Christ is essential. We are to be refined as living stones, and built

up in Christ as a spiritual house (see 1 Peter 2:4-8).

Three years ago, a catastrophic event almost took Alicia's life. Hope was bleeding out, but Jesus showed up and saved her life. That experience birthed this book and a desire to help others find hope in the midst of pain--to be healed and live in their God-given identity. During her time of healing, Jesus walked with Alicia uniquely and beautifully through prose and prophetic poetry. These writings became her personal layers of hope, and sharing them is a rescue mission from Jesus.
