Renee Cooley Riegler

I am a writer, editor, artist, teacher. Writing includes poetry, fiction, skits, plays and children’s vacation program. I love the trees and animals, especially squirrels which has earned me the nickname “Squirrel Whisperer”. My fiction writings includes mystery short stories.

As editor of a weekly newspaper, I created a contest where children finished a story that I wrote. The winners had their stories published in the newspaper and were honored at a Grits Festival.
