David Umbach, aka David Christopher, has been an actor/director in theater for over 50 Years. Playing leads in such plays as "A Little Night Music" and "A Lion in Winter". He has directed musicals like "West Side Story", "My Fair Lady" and "Hello, Dolly!" and dramas like "Deathtrap, "The Temperamentals" and "Mornings at Seven".
He has written a memoir, "Breaking Character", a novela, "The Forgotten Umbrella", 2 autobiographical plays "Oh, Those Eyes" and "Broadway Dreams", as well as a collection of short stories, "Variety is the Spice of Life".
He currently is a snowbird, living with his husband of 45 years, in both Florida and New York City.
His latest work is a collaboration with his longtime friend, Gary Cohen, on a mystery novel, "Curtain Call for a Killer".
