Alyx B. Porter Umphrey

Alyx Porter Umphrey is the Director of Neuro-Oncology at Mayo Clinic in Arizona. She grew up in Scottsdale, Arizona and graduated from Spelman College in Atlanta,Georgia after a year abroad at the University of Sussex in Brighton, England. She went on to Temple University School of Medicine and did her internal medicine internship, neurology residency, and neuro-oncology fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She is an Assistant Professor of Neurology and Internal Medicine and resides in Scottsdale, AZ with her husband and two children.
