Carol Rivers

My family was born on the Isle of Dogs, a horseshoe of land on London's Thames estuary that was once a huge shipbuilding and engineering powerhouse, though it's better known now as the setting for BBC1's hit drama Eastenders. As a child I would listen to the adults spinning their colourful tales of far off times and it was this magic of story telling that set me writing.
