Linda A. Hodgdon

Linda Hodgdon, CCC-SLP is a Speech-Language Pathologist and Autism Consultant who is internationally known as a pioneer in developing the use of visual strategies to support communication for students with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) or related learning needs.

More than 300,000 copies of her books and training materials have inspired Speech Pathologists, educators and parents of neurodivergent learners to use visual supports to meet the communication, behavior and social needs of their students.

Visual Strategies for Improving Communication, Linda’s ground breaking book, has been translated into multiple languages to spread her methods around the world. She has flown more than a million miles to share her important message on every continent except Antarctica.

When she’s not writing books, Linda loves to cheer for her hockey playing grandchildren and play with Zeke, the family puppy.
