Chris A. Zeigler Dendy

Chris Abney Zeigler Dendy, a popular author, mother of three children and five grandchildren with ADHD, speaks with authority on ADHD from her perspective both as a parent, former educator and school psychologist with 40+ years experience.

She and her husband, Tommy, provide ADHD training nationally and internationally. Their more interesting international training events were in Athens Greece, Riyadh Saudi Arabia, London, and several cities in Canada. Dendy's husband, a Naval Academy graduate, speaks about discipline from his unique military perspective. He also shares the parenting lessons he has learned. During the last 20 years, the Dendy's have given presentations on ADHD in most of the 50 states.

She has authored four books on ADHD, created the “ADHD Iceberg,” and produced two DVDs, “Real Life ADHD: A DVD survival guide for teens,” and “Father to Father: Expert advice on ADHD”. Dendy's husband is a featured speaker in their "Father to Father" DVD. Their son, Alex Zeigler was the videographer and editor for both DVDs. In addition, Alex was co-author of their "Bird's-Eye View" book and co-creator of the "ADHD Iceberg". Zeigler Dendy was the lead author and editor for the "CHADD Educators Manual on ADHD" plus was the co-creator of "CHADD's Teacher to Teacher training modules."
